MIDWEST STAIRS & IRON, INC.

Midwest Stairs & Iron, Inc., a light to medium structural fabricator in the Milwaukee area, recently purchased a number of pieces of equipment from Angel Machinery for their operation; a Standard Industrial 200 ton x 12’ Press Brake with Automec two-axis CNC Gauging and Specific Tooling, a Standard Industrial 3/8” x 10’ Shear, and a Baileigh/RMD Tube/Pipe Notching machine. Howard Wurgler, president and owner of Midwest Stairs had contacted Don Raba, Angel Machinery’s vice president, when forming the new company.  They had an ongoing business relationship since 1994 when Howard had purchased similar equipment with a previous company.

Some of the reasons that Midwest Stairs & Iron contacted Angel Machinery were that Angel could size the application with the proper equipment, they could coordinate the sale and installation of the machines and furnish support for them throughout their life.  As an added bonus, Angel Machinery was able to bring M2 Lease Funds into the picture when Midwest Stairs was looking for creative financing for the new project.

The undertaking proved to be a very good example of a turnkey solution; complete project management from application review and machine evaluation to order placement and start-up through project financing.  Add timely deliveries and thorough communication and one can see how relationships in businesses can not only survive but also thrive in the long run, something that both Midwest Stairs & Iron, Inc. and Angel Machinery look forward to.
